Its been awhile since Ive done a journel but today was slightly interesting so I figured I write one to sort of vent.

My day started off good, I had only one class at the college and even though the day was kinda icky (its finally raining down here in texas...thank god)everything was going awesome. Anway, after me and my friend got out of college I took my friend to work and then headed for my boyfriends house. Well, I got stuck at a red light on Navarro (its the busiest street in my town) and Zack lentz park way. Few minutes later my light turns green and i wait for like a few seconds b/c ppl have a tendency to run the red light especially 18-wheelers. Everyone is stopped, so I start going and out of nowehere this white toyota comes hurrling down the turn lane on my right side (i guess he was still trying to make the light) I didnt think he was gonna fucking stop, half his car was past the white line already, hey why do it? anway, I swerve to miss him, he slams on his breaks and I stop and look back...he had to be inchs from hitting me and the bastard didnt even look up at me he just backed up behind the line. At first I though, hey maybe my light wasnt green but I looked and it was, and everyone else at the other light was stopped? 0.0, idk...Im doubting myself but after that I was really shakin, i have had close calls while driving before but never THAT close. I was glad that no one was in the lane next to me or I would have hit them in the process. I came close to pulling over just past the light and try and calm down but my b/f's house was just down the street anyway, so I went there.

So...that was my day, i had to go to work after that and I didnt want to cause I would of had to go through that light again on the way home. I really wish there would have been a cop there then, damnit...they are never around when you need one! >.< In all I thought the day was kinda ironic, my friend who I drive with to school and work were having a conversation today about driving. I told her about how sometimes my car skids (and it did when we left school) when the road is wet cause my tires dont get good traction and she asked me "Have you thanked god today?" I said always. She also told me I was a good driver. Ironic? Idk.

Anywho..that was really long. 0.0 Spring break is next week for us so im real excited....I suppose I'll post something after that. Maybe...you know I'm not making any promises. ^_^ Peace guys and watch out for those crazy drivers!
